The fourth and fifth EffiShunter 1600 locomotives have been delivered to the Fennia Rail company by CZ LOKO on 25 October 2017. The locomotives will carry the Finnish designation Dr 18.
“The options we originally agreed as well as the subsequent delivery of these two locomotives are quite significant for CZ LOKO. It confirms that our decision to enter the Finnish market was both right and advantageous for both parties. It has also confirmed that our export strategy was well selected and we will continue with it in the near future,” says Josef Gulyas, CZ LOKO's General Director.
Fennia Rail Oy initiated its transportation activities a year ago and is still the only private railway transportation company on the Finnish market.
