The CZ LOKO Company is attending the TRAKO 2015 trade fair for the ninth time. This exhibition is taking place in Gdansk, Poland from 22 to 25 September, 2015. Maria Wasiak the Minister of infrastructur and development has taken patronage of the eleventh annual largest and most prestigious trade fair in Poland. It takes place biannually opposite to the Innotrans in Berlin.
You can find the CZ LOKO exposition in hall C, stand 13. At the outdoor display, you can inspect the new EffiShunter locomotive, which is designed for light shunting and line service on national and regional railways and sidings with a 1,435 mm gauge. This two-axle diesel locomotive utilises electric AC/DC power transmission and is designed as a hood unit with a tower engine driver’s cab.
The CZ LOKO Company has been present on the Polish market since 1999. The Company’s foremost success here are overhauls of the T448p and S200 diesel electric locomotives, class 140, 181 and 182 electric locomotives, and modernisations of the SM42 locomotives. CZ LOKO delivered the 797.819 locomotive to Warsaw Metro in 2008. The exhibited EffiShunter is a successor of this class and is manufactured for operating on special railways, such as the Metro.
TRAKO is the perfect opportunity to promote railway transport (trains and trams), freight forwarding and logistics and to present the latest railway technologies. The TRAKO trade fair is organised by the Gdansk International Fair Co. (MTG SA) and the PKP Group. As is previous years, the event was accompanied with an extensive program including a debate, numerous seminars and company presentations.
